1. Why did God create man?

Man is the crowning act of a loving God. God is love. God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son (I john 4:8,16)
It was Love that motivated the King of heaven to create spirit children (called mankind) to share His kingdom rulership. Man was created for the purpose of rulership and leadership. This is why Jesus described the age of the Kingdom of God and its provision for man. He was saying that this Kingdom belonged to man before he was created.(Matthew 25:34)
I believe God’s original plan in creation was to extend His heavenly Kingdom on earth, and establish a family of sons, not servants; a Kingdom of sons, not subjects; commonwealth of citizens, not Christians.
God created man for relationship not religion. God’s original purpose and intent was to rule the seen from the unseen through the unseen living in the seen on the scene
In the beginning of the book of Genesis, God begins with the creation of the physical world which would be the place that He would create man and establish His Kingdom. He did this so that He would not have to come into the visible world Him self. The plan of the invisible God would be that man who had a visible body with an invisible spirit, would be his representative on the earth. He would begin a family of offspring who would be just like Him, created from His own Spirit in His exact image. As his representative, they would release, establish, and implement His invisible Kingdom in the visible, natural world. I believe this was His original purpose for creating man. From the beginning, God’s plan for mankind centered on the fact that God desired to have a personal relationship with man and vice versa.
Genesis 1-26,28 speaks of God telling us what his intentions are for you and me. He is telling us of the transfer of power and authority from God to man, from heaven to earth and from the unseen to the seen world. This is the foundation of our divine authority for management and rulership over the earth.
God’s nature of holiness and integrity does not allow Him to violate His own words. So when God spoke these words, He established the conditions of His relationship to earth through mankind. He did not say, ‘’Let us have dominion over the earth.’’ But he said, “Let them have dominion over the earth”. It shows that mankind is the only legal authority on the earth with the power of attorney to act on His behalf.
This is what made Jesus—the man------- made Christ---the God ---legal on the earth. This is the purpose and the power mankind has on the earth.
