Faith is the noun from the Greek verb ‘pisteuo’, which is usually translated as ‘believe’. It means to be fully convinced of something – to know without any doubts. So if you have doubts, then you are not believing or exercising faith. Anything that does not give you the total assurance of God’s provision and answers to your prayer is not faith at all. It is simply very strong hope at the best. And if you think that living that way is going to bring results, then you are going to fall flat on your face.
No, living by faith is not something that only certain people do in special circumstances; it is the way we should all be living. In fact, it is the way the Lord has commanded us to live. “The just shall live by faith,” says the Word. Don’t you think it is time you learned what faith is and how to obtain it, so that you can start living by it?
Greater is He who is in me than he that is in the world.
Father God, in your deepest love You so delighted in the sons of men, that though they continually committed disobedience against You, You sent your only Son, Jesus the Christ, from heaven to this earth, to be born in the likeness of the sons of men, in my likeness, a human being, so that the just penalty of my disobedience, my sinful nature, would rest upon Him, and His righteousness and life would abide in those who chose to believe in your Son. It is this great work of grace in the person of Jesus Christ that your Word has clearly revealed to me, and I trust in the Lord of creation who is now my Redeemer and Sustainer, and I know I am saved from eternal damnation by your grace through this faith that Your Son has given me, and I know that I will live forever with the You, the Living God. (John 3:16)
When people want to be seen as “experts”, simple is never good enough. To be an expert, you must know more than the average person. If something is very simple, there is not much need for an “expert”. The breeding ground for confusion is when “experts” can take a very simple thing and make it complicated. As a matter of fact, the more complicated it can be made, the more you “need” the experts. Once the general population has been convinced of how complicated a matter is, they can easily be manipulated by a few “experts”. This is called “guaranteeing job security”. Now let’s get back to the specific topic at hand, Christianity.
In James the Bible says every good gift and every perfect gift is from above and comes down from the Father of Lights, with Whom is no variableness ( not double-minded) neither shadow of turning…He casts no shadow because He is a constant light and has no shadow or ill-will. No evil comes from God especially illness. If He did, everything He made would fall apart. In Genesis everything He made was good.
God sent Jesus, in a body, to die for you, and when He died He takes every sin you ever make in your whole life and forgives you of it. Now when He died His blood was shed for you, cleansed you on the spot, without condemning you, it does not come from God, and He makes you a new creature or person in your spirit when you receive Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord of your life. Once that is done, He made you His daughter. Now being His daughter, He has given you everything you need, forgiveness for your mistakes, freedom from sickness and disease and death, freedom from poverty, and power through His Holy Spirit He sent to take Jesus’ place once He went back to Heaven and now sits on the right hand of the Father, interceding for you and all who are in His family.
