Apostle Derrico Steels

Question: What is a false prophet?

Well this question is one that plagues the body of Christ a lot, we get into this witch hunt looking under every rock peaking around every corner looking for the big bad wolf. Well as always I say our thinking on spiritual matters should never be beyond what the word has already set in order, in other words I can not say it means this when very clearly the word shows something else.  (more…)

Faith : “The just shall live by faith,”

Faith : “The just shall live by faith,”

Faith is the noun from the Greek verb ‘pisteuo’, which is usually translated as ‘believe’. It means to be fully convinced of something – to know without any doubts. So if you have doubts, then you are not believing or exercising faith. Anything that does not give you the total assurance of God’s provision and answers to your prayer is not faith at all. It is simply very strong hope at the best. And if you think that living that way is going to bring results, then you are going to fall flat on your face.

No, living by faith is not something that only certain people do in special circumstances; it is the way we should all be living. In fact, it is the way the Lord has commanded us to live. “The just shall live by faith,” says the Word. Don’t you think it is time you learned what faith is and how to obtain it, so that you can start living by it?

Open letter to the body of Christ

Open letter to the body of Christ

1. In 2001 VCF’s pastor, Dave Morgan, stated to the church that our church had failed the public, as had every other church in America. He went on to explain that when 9-11 occurred millions of people flocked to churches in confusion, wanting to find reason behind the calamity. NO church was prepared or equipped to deal with the need of the people. All churches had failed. People generally stopped going to church that had gone for answers. We didn’t have answers. Would we next time?

Praying the Blood of Jesus

Praying the Blood of Jesus

I love you dear heavenly Father, precious Jesus and beautiful Holy Spirit. I pray dear heavenly Father as I cup my hands, please fill this cup with the BLOOD of my precious Jesus. Thank you, dear God, and now I take the BLOOD of Jesus and by the Holy Spirit of love, power and sound mind, pour it over my head and let it saturate my body from the top of my head to the bottom of my feet. At this time I pour the BLOOD of Jesus which God Almighty put into my hands, over the top of my head and move my hands down over my body as I see the BLOOD saturate my entire body.
I now proclaim in the name of Jesus that His BLOOD, which has cleansing power, healing and power and restoration power, cleanses, heals and restores my brain, my conscious mind, and my subconscious mind, my head, my hair, my eyes and my ears, my mouth and lips, my teeth and my gums, my throat, my esophagus, and my stomach, my gall bladder and my liver, my bladder my pancreas, my kidneys, and every organ in my body, my immune system, my upper and lower colon and intestines, my private parts, my legs, my calves, my knees, my ankles, my feet, my back side, my hips, my spine, my back, my neck, my shoulders, my arms, my hands, my chest, my lungs, my diaphragm, and my heart.
Now dear Father, I pray, fill this cup again with the precious blood of my Jesus, this BLOOD is being pumped through every artery, through every vein, through every capillary into every bone, every cell, every atom and every molecule of my brain, my body, my soul, my spirit and my blood. Thank you dear God for completely cleansing, healing, and restoring my body, my mind, my heart, my soul, my spirit and my blood, through the BLOOD of Jesus and in His holy Name. Amen!

Prosperity Defined–Praying the Word

Prosperity Defined
From God’s viewpoint, prosperity is multidimensional. It encompasses the prospering of the spirit, soul ( mind, will, and emotions), and body. This includes both spiritual and temporal prosperity.
From the world’s viewpoint, prosperity is one-dimensional. It includes only receiving and increasing our temporal possessions: those we cannot take with us after death.
In God’s kingdom the foundation of prosperity is an intimate friendship with God initiated and maintained through prayer and the Word. This gives us a right relationship with Him, ourselves, and others.
Matthew 22:37-39 describes the greatest commandments of the kingdom:
